Για άλλη μια χρονια, την πρώτη στην μετά covid εποχή η αμερικανική διοργάνωση του Tales of the Cocktail ανακοίνωσε τα αποτελεσμάτων των Spirited Awards 2022. Πρόκειται για τα σημαντικότερα βραβεία του χώρου που καλύπτουν όλο το φάσμα της βιομηχανίας και κάθε χρόνο τα ανεμένουν όλοι. Η τελετή έλαβε χώρα στο ξενοδοχείο Ritz-Carlton της Νέας Ορλεάνης,και τιμήθηκαν μπαρ, μπαρτέντερ, brand ambassador, προϊόντα, συντάκτες αλλά και εκδόσεις οι οποίες επηρέασαν τον χώρο της βιομηχανίας των μπαρ το 2022.
Από την Ελλάδα έδωσαν το παρόν σε αυτή την 16η τελετή των Spirited Awards το Clumsies και συγκεκριμένα ο Νίκος Σουρμπάτης μιας και η ομάδα του Clumsies ήταν μέσα στην τέσσερις υποψήφιες για καλύτερη bar team όπως σου είχαμε γράψει πριν μερικές εβδομάδες. https://flaginlife.gr/i-omada-tou-clumsies-stis-4-kalyteres-ston-kosmo/
Κορυφαία bar στις τρεις μεγάλες κατηγορίες (Best International Cocktail Bar, World’s Best Bar και US Best Bar) τα Tayēr + Elementary, Lyaness του ξενοδοχείου Sea Containers από το Λονδίνο και το Katana Kitten από την Νέα Υόρκη αντίστοιχα.
Ο θρύλος Ryan Chetiyawardana του Lyaness έφυγε με άλλα δύο βραβεία εκτός από το World’s Best Bar κέρδισε και το Best International Hotel Bar για το Lyaness και Best U.S. Hotel Bar για το Silver Lyan στην Ουάσιγκτον.
